We also plan for events such as business Seminars and exhibition as well as promoting and facilitating training in Agribusiness and on farm practical experiences to enhance the acquisition of knowledge. We also arrange local and international training exposures and travels in order to promote agribusiness marketplace.
We also participate in the import and export of agricultural commodities and machinery and act as agents for importers, exporters, manufacturers and representatives of buyers and sellers (both wholesale and retail) of agribusiness products both locally and internationally. KilimoShop Limited is an Agricultural Company, that seeks to create a network of farmers and other agricultural sector under one platform.
The Founder, William Kirwa has BSc honours in Agriculture and MSc in Plant Breeding from the University of Nairobi, MBA(International Banking and Finance) from Birmingham Business School, UK and MSc (Strategic Planinng) from Edinburgh Business School, UK. He is a Consultant in Agribusiness, Strategy and financial management and planning. He served as the Managing Director of Agricultural Development Corporation(ADC), a Director in Chemelil Sugar Company, Kenya Seed Company, Simlaw Seeds, Kibo Seed(Tanzania) and Chairman of the Board of Agro-Chemical and Food Company(ACFC). He has been honoured with OGW and MBS from the Government of Kenya.
He is a Chartered Banker who served in Barclays Bank( now Absa) where he set up Premier Banking and also as Lecturer at Strathmore University Business School. He is currently running Berur Farms in Murgusi and undertaking various consultancies in Agribusiness. Mr. Kirwa is passionate about making and impact in Agricultural Sector in Kenya by creating a pool of networks for information sharing and business ventures.
